Gretchen Malone was named the head coach of the Idaho State Women’s Tennis program in 2015. Maloney served as an assistant coach for the women's team at Idaho State for the 2014 season and replaces her predecessor, Bobby Goeltz, as the first new head tennis coach at ISU in 25 years. In 2024 Maloney led the program to a share of the Big Sky Regular Season Championship. They finished with a conference record of 6-2 and an overall record of 6-2. The program finished with a winning percentage of .684.
